Kad Raya paling Special

As I got home (in Sabah), I saw a kad raya addressed to me.

Anyways. Sekarang ni Kak Syikin & I tengah galak main inih kt rumah. Penat2 balik office tu, boleh jugak kami joget smpai tengah malam haha. Esoknye g office mcm zombie haha. Tapi pape pon Kak Syikin jugak lagi excited haha dan terror la hehe aku mmg ade masalah koordinasi.

Jalan Jalan Makan Raya

I'm in the office while drafting this. Sejuk sgt dlm office today. Menggigil. Boleh dengar guruh dari luar. Nasib I kat level 30-an je.

So. This post will be about my Jalan2 Raya. I didn't get to jalan2 beraya much, bcos was occupied with familial gatherings la. But, as soon i jejak je bumi KL, i terus contact John - semalam lagi John da contact tny if I'm back in KL. Thanks for tipu-ing me, saying u're in KB ye. Boleh pulak I pun percaya.

They're going to Syai's house 1st, kat USJ. Since all of them dah around that area, none I can hitch a ride withla. & nak harap I naik LRT & KTM mmg tak larat bcos I baru je smpai hotel after the long journey & 2-hour sleep aje last night. So tak ape lah.. *down*. Tak lama pastu Azam jadi penyelamat, kata lpas rumah Syai & Ain IT, nak g rumah Azam lak kt Gombak, ley pick me up on the way. Yaay~ sempat jugak aku jalan2 raya bfore g PIPE training nih.

So. I tido dlu jap. 1 noon cmtu tu. Tapi tak lena bcos waiting for their sms, sound if gerak dari shah alam rumah Ain tu. Banyak kali la mimpi mcm da dpat sms & call suruh siap2, sampai da confuse mane yg btul mane mimpi isk.. Eventually at about 3pm Syai msged la. Cool. Siap2. Pkai baju kurung nih. pergh. 4pm. turun2 dari hotel tu, melintas jalan raya, dengan beg balik kampung Coach ku, dan terkial2 nak melintas jalan, pergh, betul2 macam orang dari kampung masuk bandar hahaha!

Keta Azam ade 3 jejaka lain. Keta Charles ade John, Malini & Kajen. Keta Syai ade me & Hannah! Yayy~ happy2 to see all! To Azam's we go! Gombak Gombak~

Its my 2nd time to Azam's house. Aritu bukak puasa. Best2. Mak die suka buat lauk ber asas kan udang hihi. I makan paling banyak! (yerla da yg lain2 tu da melantak kt 2 rumah da)

the aftermath of a VERY FUNNY incident. pls la Chz, jgn wat cmtu kat rumah org. LOL! poor Malini jadi mangsa haha

Pastu we went to Ain's house pulak kat Sentul. Ada moist choc cake & popiah yg sedap~~! (Pudiin nak gambaa!) "I'm veeery full" kata John sambil ambik lagi mee dgn kuah claypot itu.

Then derang ajak ke rumah Anas roomate Pudin pulak. Menu kat rumah Anas kat Tmn Melati ni mmg paling rare lah. Ada "kus-kus" & nasik kambing yg mcm org2 arab mkn dlm dulang kawah besar2 tuh. Mmg unique! Dan ada dadih yg berperisa dadih jugak. Terima kasih aunty, kalo tak pi rumah Anas mmg tak terasa lah "kus-kus' itu hoho!

Went back to hotel by 10pm. Phew what a day!!! :D Looking forward to more open houses, tapi after this I kene attend the Induction Program for New Executives (PIPE) training pulak.. kat PERMATA, Bangi for 16 days starting this 1 Oct.. kira 19 Oct baru I masuk balik office la. Habis la Syawal ku! :(

Beraya di Kelantan

Tuesday. 22/09/09. Raya ke-3.
Arriving at destination. Ceh. Macam GPS. Hehe. Sampai je KLIA, check2 handphone, Garmin ku rosak! aiyak.. So main gamble je drive from Putrajaya tu ke apartment ku untuk letak balik some stuffs - sesat sampai 2 jam okee! Wasted gile haih..

Gerak from apartment at exact 4.30pm. We bnyk stop stop la. I drove from 2.30 (since dari Putrajaya yg sesat2 tuh) until 7.30pm, which by that time baru reach Kuala Lipis haha. But I has the horror of driving on jalan kampung la. 1 lane punya road. omg.. miserable oke if kereta depan kita tu bawak 60km/j sahaje & nak potong susah cuz the opposing lane pulak banyak kereta.. mmg high stress (-_-!). Dad's turn to drive pulak. Mmg kalo Myvi I tuh bole nangis, dah banjir jln raya tu kot. Dad bwk laju & press gila la aisy *usap2 kereta ku* cian kereta ku.. tapi laju la. by 12 midnight we reached Ayah Li's house.

So. Being back to my dad's kampung was great. I had fun. I ate ALOT. I'm loving my cuzzies. My Abg Midi got married. Food was fabulous. & I'm giving out duit raya already! Oh the feeling of able to give duit raya to my younger cousins, seeing them cheer & tergedik2 nak salam cium tangan Kak Iza derang nih - sangat mencuit hati & best :)

Mai anggun berkasut tinggi. Mwahaha~

I main macam badut. Siap bola tu tercampak ke belakang. Akak yg jaga counter JEGIL kan mata je. hoho.

I'm officially an adult I guess. My uncles & aunts da trust me to bring their kids jalan2. I drive around KB by myself (well, actually, with GPS's navigation la haha, after reformatting my memory card & re-install Garmin - darn! charged another RM50!). Guess I underestimated my younger cousins ni. I remembered them as young rascals je dulu. But they're all grown up now. And very very well mannered considering their age. Oldest would be in form 2, while some are as young as tak masuk tadika lagi. Ade 1 baby je. Anak2 sedara I banyak jantan oke. So bila diorang da jumpe geng2 diorang, memang noti. But they behaved well as far as I've seen.

E.g. 1
I went out to Tesco to buy cat food untuk anak kucing kat rumah Ayah Li tu (sangat chomel! Black & Chomel are the names the kids gave. sayangnye lupe amek pic). Brought the kids along - Arif (Ayis), Alia, & Amar (Mai). Form 1, primary 4, and primary 3. Time kat Tesco I tny nak ape2 tak? - geleng2 semua. Then I ngidam Cheezy Wedges, ajak la dak2 ni g KFC.

Me: nak ape nih? (tanya semua)
Ayis: em.. nak wedges gak lah *menjengok2 kan leher nak tengok harga dkat menu kat dpan*
Mai: nak air Mirinda. Stroberi. *dah siap dgn beberapa keping RM1 dlm tangan*
I pun diam je. Saje test dak2 nieh.
Alia: *geleng2*
I ordered 2 large cheezy wedges & 2 drinks. Paid the whole while budak2 tu hulur2kan duit dorang jugak.
Bila da smpai duduk..
Ayis: Kak Iza, nak resit.. nak kira brapa.. *Mai pula terus hulur RM3*. *Alia mentelaah Whiskas yg baru dibeli dlm plastik*
Takde kes nye aku nak ambik duit budak2 nih. "Dah! Makan!" ku katakan dengan indah.

E.g. 2
Sesi memberi duit raya.
Me: Sape nak duit raya~~? *while budak2 ni tengah kusyuk main game kt laptop ku & abah mereka*
Respond budak2? Ada yg tunduk malu. ade yg yay lari pecut salam cium tangan. tapi yg pasti ade sorg nih..
Akil (form2): Takyah la mintak duit raya dari Kak Iza! Kak Iza baru kerja tu! *marah si abang kepada adik2nya*
"Dah! Ambik je!" ku katakan dengan indah.

Sayang btol I kat dak2 nieh. Matured dah, leh fikir & tau tak susahkan orang. Bila jalan2 pun, mmg jarang diorang ni buat tebiat pape. & With Alia & Ayis especially, I can actually duduk dengan berdua borak2 about sekolah, family, hobby, & macam2 la. Sweet jek :) Looking forward bawak budak2 nieh jalan2, since they're staying kat Shah Alam. Cousins yg lain tak sempat spend much time sangat sbb duduk rumah lain2.

Anyways. I makan sgt banyak. I dunno bape kg I da naik. But food kat Kelantan mmg sedap2. Heaven sgt2!

I'm back in KL by Saturday. Dah la tido at 1am. 3am da bangun. 4am gerak dah. Amazingly quite a number of cars were on the road already ye. Semua nak avoid the traffic I guess. Jln Gua Musang pun sangat berkabus lagi by 6am. Dad drove the whole 300km, up until Raub, then only I sambung drive the remaining 150km back to KL, straight to Legend hotel - reached by 11am. So if kira minus 3 stops, it was a 6 hours journey je la. Cool.

Next! Konvoy raya! :D

Note: okay gotta sambung tomorrow. penat berjoget dengan tikar joget baru, & esok kena kerja! after a whole 9-days break! ngaaa.. kaw2 punya Monday blues nih..

Eid Mubarak - Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Oh my darling blog, its been quite some time since I last posted something. I'm so sorry :( been very occupied. With work, traveling, & RAYA!

I flew back to KK on Saturday. The day before THE DAY itself! I was reunited with my 2nd brother Udin after not seeing each other for exactly 1 year - he's working in Miri , often when he comes back hometown, I'm not around. We had family buka puasa at Le Meridien Hotel - awesome buka puasa buffet!

I was so busy with the open house preparation. Not as busy as the big chefs ofcourse, my mum & dad. Among the menu:

1. Nasi Dagang (many seek fr papa's nasi dagang, ever year!)
   
2. Nasi Minyak
3. Lontong (my favourite!!)
   
4. Ayam Kurma
5. Rendang Daging
6. Kari Ikan
   
7. Chicken with Beans
8. Spaghetti
9. Whole lamb on grill
10. A variety of dessert - assorted kek lapis khas dari Swak, 4 whole cakes (orang kasik), durian pudding, trifle, fruit agar2 & tonnes of kuih raya (i bought from KL)
11. there were more but i kinda forgot..

So. Iyea. I had a great time! It looked alot like CNY actually - the Malays ain't the majority that came (probably also sebab its 1st day kan). Mostly are our relatives themselves. Some old neighbors & family friends & colleagues. For the 1st time, I bagi duit raya to my younger cousins hehe & it feels great! Pasni gi Kelantan lagi banyak anak buah nih ish ish ish.. takpe ikhlas :D

I'm heading back to KL tomorrow (Tuesday). Together with my parents. So. Iyea. I had 3 nights only in KK :( Upon arrival in KLIA, we'll go take my car kat rumah Sya kat Putrajaya, head back to my apartment to leave some ole-ole, & off to Kelantan! my my.. it'll be an 8 hour (min?) journey.. this'll be my 1st long journey drive i guess. Dulu Perak-KL je. Doakan kami selamat sampai ye kawan kawan~

Btw. I cutted my hair short today. Bob-styled. Waa. If bukan sebab I da pakai tudung, tak berani kot cut that short kiki~~`

Diari Orang Baru Kerja yg Jakun (2)

I've been very busy for the past few days - considering I've just started working like 2 weeks ago. On my 3rd day of working, I dah stayed back to finish up some work & attend meeting yg boleh tiba2 muncul pkul 4pm time kite siap2 nak balik. I can't tell in detail of my work stuff (ala u know, Private & Confidential konon bla bla bla), so, there's not much I can gossip kat blog dah, since my life would be pretty much work-related as of now *sigh*

This week. Mmg I busy gila. With making all the phone calls, site visiting, meetings, & not forgetting to chill with my friends :)

I had fun visiting the NGV stations around KL/Selangor. Di bawak jalan2 lah saya yg jakun oleh Encik R ke stesen2 NGV seperti Kg Baru, Kayu Ara-Damansara, Subang, & Shah Alam.

ni Kayu Ara station. ade 16 NGV pumps. kat cni i terkagum sbb terjumpe sorg awek muda drive keta yg pkai NGV. mcm cool.

korg tau tak keta NGV isi kat mana? haa tak tau kan? kat dpan oke. kagum x? (time ni I jakun gile)

bas pun ada yg pkai NGV tau. NGV ni bagus wey, x cemar environment, xde asap. go Green!

What I've been busy since last week is for this AGH'09 project (taknak mention the full, nanti office ppl search kluar link to my blog pulak. x best2. pls refer to the pic je ehe). Project ni objective die utk promote NGV. Together with Asia Pacific NGV Association (ANGVA), we collaborate skali ngan UMW untuk jayakan this event. Wat macam larian obor olympic tuh. Cuma ni naik kereta modified to use NGV la, & passing the torch yg takde api.

Dept NGV ku kecil je. So ktorg mcm 1 family jek. Encik B bagai kn papa ku - dia pun cakap anak dia baya I je. Kak Zah, our clerk pun baya2 Encik B. Both ni da kerja almost 30 years dgn Pet. kagum2. Encik R & Encik H lak mcm abang la konon haha. tu je.

Diari Orang Baru Kerja yg Jakun

Da lama x blogging. makin malas. Or more like takde leisure time kot.

We hear this often - once start kerja, hari2 macam serupa je. You'll have a fixed routine. Maybe jgk. My every working-day goes like this (for bulan Ramadhan ni la):

0500 - bangun for sahur. solat. mandi. siap2 to go work.
0700 - keluar dr rumah. drive to LRT Tmn Melati. bersesak dlm LRT & sampai lah KLCC. if sampai office awal, lepak2 bace newspaper, emails, & facebook dlu.
0800 - mula serious mode. konon.
1300 - zohor. kdg2 tu g menerawang kat Suria KLCC.
1400 - masuk blk office. huha huha.
1600 - bulan puasa ni, pkul 4 da boleh balik (yay!) if ade janji buka puasa with friends, stayback la till 5pm lbey. Else, 4++ ciao dah. naik LRT lagi. amek kereta. & usually my housemate & I akan drive ke merata2 untuk cari makanan berbuka hee~ our only leisure during weekdays. balik2 rumah tu kdg2 pengsan tetido smpai 7pm gak. makruh2 ish ish ish..
1900 - ready2 buka puasa. mkn.mandi. tgk tv. bla bla bla.. (kadang2 sibuk email2 office work ockay..)
2300 - naik katil. pengsan. ugh...

& the routine continues~~`

I had my 1st weekend as a working adult last week. Well. I still don't think I'm a full adult yet la. Perangai cam budak2 hingusan je. Dah la pimples baru kluar. I rase I baru masuk REMAJA lah XD

Anyways. I thank my girls yg came all the way from UTP to spend the weekend with me :') love you girls to bits! Syaima'. Oyen. Anies. Atex. not forgetting Ain & Diba yg dtg 'jenguk kejap'. A more detailed story of this particular weekend can be found in Syaima's blog here. Wished Saa. Nana. Sya. Ida. Yam pun came along..

Cant help to snap pic mcm nih everytime we see big mirrors. Biarpun sampai tertinggal plastik Guardian ku.

Buka puasa & WongSolo yg super best tapi buat I sengsara sbb pedas gila ayam penyet dia!

Inilah ayam penyet WongSolo yg popular. tak paham mane yg pedas ituh.

My girls ni kan. I pun tak tau lah. Tapi dorg ni mmg suka wat I nangis. Mcm jadi hobby pun ada. Bukan nangis yg menyakitkan hati. Tapi wat something yg sweet ter amat sangat & menyebabkan I terharu, terindu, tersebak, & mcm2 lg lah. They are the people who made me as I am today :') Kawan baik saya, Dunia & Akhirat.

Btw. As promised in my previous post, I'll post some pics of my 'revamped' house kn. The house itself takde la I kacau mane sgt. But for my room..

Tahdaa~ oke xde la gempak mana kn. ngan border yg tak ckup hahaha tapi katil I mmg best, kan babes? hiks! landing je terus tido.

Luggage bags ku yg menyemak. Tapi takde tempat lain dah nak letak, haih..

What Can I Say?

The House
I didnt fell in love with it at first sight. But. Oh well. Love develops :)

These are some snapshots of my current crib upon arrival:

The living room. We're in level 12, so it very breezy!

The dry kitchen. Lotsa cabinet. Very roomy.

The dining hall. Quite big considering only 2 people live here. I hated the hanging flowers!

The master bedroom, with toilet/bathroom attached. I hated the langsir & cadar! Changed it asap! What I love about the my room is its PINK! hee~

The 2nd room. Where Cik S is currently occupying. I think its the same size as the master bedroom too.

The 3rd room. To let. Aircond & wardrobe installed. RM350. Anyone?

The best part of all. The balcony. Very nice view! At night can see the whole KL dancing in lights. Hari2 pun boleh tengok my office LOL.

So. I teared away all those silly hanging flowers. Mopped the floors. Cleaned the windows & furniture, & well hey! Its not bad at all! I think I'm loving this house now :D

The 1st Day at Work

Cik S, or whom I call, Kak Syiken, & I left the house as early as 6.45am! It was still dark ockay~ Cudn't believe myself as well. Lepas sahur da tak tido. Bcos takut takde parking kat LRT Tmn Melati tu. Luckily ada. Any later, we'll have to go to LRT Terminal Putra, the last station which provides parking.

While it was very crammed in the LRT after Wangsa Maju, a Pakistani pakcik was comfortably resting his tummy on my elbow, all the way! for like 20 mins kot! & couldn't move an inch! Tah sape la tepi belakang aku. I kept staring at another foreigner's tummy whos standing in front of me aje.

In the office. Well. Cant comment much. No I didn't go stalking for hot guys. "We have our policy", remember? LOL! Had my own cubicle, phone-less & PC-less still. Din do much today. Went to level 11 to visit Charles & chit chat awhile. & take pic! X)

The Muslims can go back by 4pm (yay!) since there's no lunch break (tapi pegi je merayau after smyg Zohor). Kak Syiken & I went to Wangsa Maju's bazaar again, after usha2 dekat Terminal Putra tapi tak jumpa bazaar (so free kan us haha).

Anyways. I think I'm liking it. Everything :)
