Racist lagi. Ragut baru tau.

It was about 7pm, and I just got back from office. I was waiting for the elevator at the ground floor of my apartment, along with a Malay couple with 2 little kids, an Indian mother with 3 kids, and a so-called young female adult (macam aku lah ehe).

I made way for the families to fill in first. Lif kecik je, and 9 people are already in it. So I thought of staying behind & wait for the next lift je. But the little indian kid (about 4 5 yrs old i guess) was semangat-ly holding the lift door - ala chomel je~, and the akak was pressing the open door button. Note that our apartment's lifts ni macam lahanat sikit, takde sensor, kalau tutup pintu tu mmg boleh mati terhimpit budak. "Thank you~" I said, sambil pat the kid's head.

Level 3 - the Malay couple and the kids went off.

Level 4 - the Indian family went off.

And the lift is left with myself and the girl baya2 I. She gave a heavy sigh as soon as the Indian family went off. I pun terpandang belakang & senyum je la kat die. Suddenly...

"Nyemak je kan derang ni?"

I was like err... Racist ke ape ngeko ni? Kalo ko nak kutuk yang pak hitam tu aku paham la lagi. Tapi those are Malaysian jugak kot. Ade hak kot nak menyewa kat apartment ni jugak. But I brushed it away & simply asked back:

Izza : Dah lama tinggal sini?

Dia : Tak laa. Baru sebulan.

Izza : (tengok butang lif tingkat yang menyala) Oooh.. Tinggal kat Level 10 eeh? Rumah korg ke, yang ade kena ragut rantai minggu lepas dkat bawah apartment ni?

Dia : Haaa aah. Saye la tu orang nye! Eeh, popular jugak kes tu ek? *chuckles* (aik bangge pulak ko?)

Izza : Aaa ade haritu dengar pakcik bergossip dalam lif..

Dalam hati aku.. Padan la kau kena ragut. Tu la racist sangat.

I Despise Turning 22

Its 21st of March. And genap 1 month lagi its my 22nd birthday :(

Why the gloomy face you ask?

Well. Being 21 has been very eventful for me. Which makes me resistant to leave 21-yearhood! - & 21's my fave number too!

Among the highlights of me being 21, or in year 2009 were :

1. January 2009 was my final semester in UTP. Despite being a final year student, I was like on HONEYMOON baby! Class was only on Wed & Thurs (Monday 1 hour tu halal la) - I had 5 weekends & 2 weekdays in a week! & that gave me plenty of time to berfoya2 lah. Oh how I loved my final semester. So juniors. Awal2 tu rajin2 lah tarik courses, so that at your final sem you can goyang kaki macam I ye hoyeah.

2. And since its final semester for the Comp & Info Science (CIS) undergraduates of batch Jan 2005 intake, our sweet sweet batch mates pulled the effort to organize Inter-Course Sports Carnival & Grand Dinner. Oh oh this was very very memorable to me :')

I was voted Queen of my batch. Konon 94% voted. Ntah betul tah idak statistik derang nih. Saja bagi I yg final sem ni menang kot. But it was an eventful night. Sangat2 sweet~ rindu korang semua uhh...


3. I had the BLAST-est birthday surprise ever. Thanks to Mohd Azmi & sidekick Kema, whos girlfriend also happen to be the same with mine. All 3 of us - Izza, Shera, Diyana, share the same birthdate hee. Oh & Azam celebrated skali, tho he's on 22nd Apr. Splashes of TEPUNG & party TEPUNG & the crowd of all my loved ones - super combination. This year tak dapat dah camni.. :(

4. Nearing end of semester, more and more events were organized. Most importantly, take LOTSA PIKCHA!

5. We had our Housemates Semester End Vacation @ Cameron Highlands. It was super! 9 unstoppable-talking-machine girls put together - u know what happens lah.

6. And.. we graduated!

8. I got my offer letter from Petronas, and I started my working life in 21! Got myself a couple of crazy & fun friends in the office, and I am so0oO loving my current life!

Kau lah teman setia ku, setiap malam. Setiap malam. Walaupun aku penat balik dari office bersesak mencium ketiak orang dalam LRT, aku pasti belai kau malam malam. Kau kan dendangkan aku lagu2 sambil aku iron atau lipat baju, mahupun mekap2 before tido. Berserta teman setia mu, Celcom Broadband, aku akan online chatting dan ber facebook ber jam2. Kalau weekend takyah cakap la. Memang kita bagaikan on honeymoon. Mau tak keluar bilik aku bermesra dengan kau.

Kau umpama nyawa ku bila keluar dari rumah. Sehari tanpa mu bagai tak lengkap hidupku. Kau sentiasa depan mata ku. Tak akan aku lepaskan kau dari pandanganku. Kau masih putih suci dan sexy si hati ku walaupun dah terjatuh terhempas pelbagai kali dan bercalar balar. Maafkan aku oh E66. Hayatmu baru setahun jagung. Namun aerial untuk GPS mu sudah tercabut dan kos untuk membaiki seketul itu mencecah RM250 *carut*.

Ockay enough with the crap la kaan. So. Sejak I got my BB. Memang my laptop & other hp tu dah jadi anak tiri la. Since I got everything I used to use my laptop for (instant messanging, facebook-ing, websurfing yadayadayadayawn) in my BB, I practically used my laptop only on weekends! Shiaan laptop I. E66 takyah cakap la. Tak cukup ngan tercampak sana sini, I tot I would stil keep it for sake of Garmin GPS. But crap, aerial dia tercabut dah pulak because cemana tah aritu I terjatuhkan, and since then dah jadi mcm alat music, boleh buat music salsa ngan my hp dah - ada something loose in it la.

So. Itu je nak menceceh. Saya ada anak tiri 2 ketul. & my BB is my new anak emas. Sekian.

Zee Avi Live in KL wheee~~`

So I went to little Ms Zee Avi's concert just now. It was made live in Life Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Upon arrival in front of Life Centre, we were stunned by the queue! Berlingkar okee depan tu. Dangg. Never knew Zee Avi was quite a hit jugak. Ingatkan kitorg je yang sawan kan dia.

I guess you would rather call it a gig rather than concert. A decent gig I would say. Kalau lagu jazz/blues by Zee Avi orang nak loncat2 tak berbaju tu memang aku tak paham la.



Theres our adorable, international-local singer. Cool gila. Sempoii je die.

With total slumber-ness sambil minum air dari mineral bottle, she lazily said "KL make some noise for me~" & the crowd goes "WoOoOoOoOoOoOoo~~!"

Dato' Tony Fernandes duduk atas sana. Upper deck. Tiket RM55 sila jengket2 kaki je kat lower deck ye.

She sang about.. what, 10 songs je kot.



Her solo performance. She actually said her closing speech & left the stage already, until the crowd starts roaring "we want more" and "one more song". She came back to the stage & sang Monte.

Oh tapi before that meh la I cite our situation.

Khamis 25/2
The day before kerja la as usual. Balik ofc packing2, kul 12++ jugak tido. kul 4 bangun dah, need to be in KLIA by 6 camtu since our flight is at 7.30am. Huargh... oke tido 4 jam je. Pastu dalam plane bukan boleh tido sangat pun.

Oh oh. A funny thing happened. I dah la ngan muka sememeh, pakai tshirt souvenir dr London yg murah tu, with track bottom & kasut sukan nye naik flight tu kan. Tiba tiba, just before landing, a stewardess came with a neatly folded tissue paper & senyap2 passed to me saying "miss, my colleague bagi :)" - I was like, bile mase I mintak tissue toilet pulak nieh?

So.. Iyea.. Oke.. I can be attractive eventho in total selekeh-ness la jugak kaaan? LOL. Good try Mr Steward. Walaupun gaji anda memang menarik, tapi you presented urself on a tissue! :p

Neways. Sampai2 je KK. We terus shoot to Kundasang. Had lunch - roti! epal! mineral water! pergh... and started our walk up at about 3pm - which is extremely late to start-climb kot. Usually ppl start climb at 8-10am. So that can get enough rest dkat Laban Rata tu. Memang gamble lah kami. Dengan hujang bagai nye lagi kan. Initially I bertekad nak pikul backpack I all the way up myself. Most of the girls dah bagi porter awal. Bajet tough la kan. But I gave up on the 4th kilometre. Baju & beg dah lembab2 kene hujan - total selekehness & kerimasan la. So on the 4th km, I called the porter dah utk tlg angkat ngee...

Exhausted? Yes. Hungry? Yes. Rasa nak muntak asyik makan energy bar. Bekalan air pun dah habis, terpaksa minum air tak berawat dr tangki. Another 2km to go. Time ni dah mula dugaan mental. Rasa memaki hamun diri ape sawan gi panjat gunung ni.

1km to go. The air is getting thinner. Guy friends yg smokers memang kaput gile, the girls gelak2 je tengok drg tersemput2 - nak pitam lah, nak muntah la. Tapi tak tipu a few times rasa OMG.. Nak give up dah. I just cant do it dah. Time ni memang dah malam buta tak nampak apa, memang jalan berbekal kan head torch je. Oh Tuhan je tahu bertapa siksa nye rasa time ni...

6km of walking up & we're in Laban Rata. at almost 11pm! 8 *ucking hours by God!

So by 12 midnight baru tido.

Friday 26/2
2am dah kene bangun! ugh... & kitorg tak turun ke bawah (which took about another 200-300m je kot, tapi the path is hilly, so mmg berkira gila nak turun utk bfast, n naik balik) so we ate energy bars je. 2km je pooon nak naik g puncak tuu kaaaan. We were the last team to gerak ke puncak, about 3.30am.

Sekali nya. 2km ni la cabaran. pergh.. I tot I could never make it lah. Gelap bagai, & you only see other ppl's head torch bergerak dr hujung gunung sana. pergh.. tinggi gila... & after about 500m walk, kena start pakai tali dah - kalo tak, jatuh guling2 masuk gaung lah kau. Took us about

Pendek cer. I reached the peak. 8th km tu. But I didn't went to Low's Peak - which was another 300m je kot. I swear if I forced myself lagi, betis i dah hilang kot lepas tuh. Sure dah tak boleh turun dah. So I waited dkat puncak tu sambil tunggu the others naik to Low's Peak kan. Ambik scene pics. & tido. Ha ah I slept on the puncak Gunung Kinabalu. Siapa pernah buat wey?

Time turun balik Laban Rata from puncak tu lagi dugaan wey. mcm buat abseiling i tell u! pergh...

About 11am sampai la Laban Rata tu balik. Mandi2, pack2 stuff, makan sikit. & ready to go down dah. which took us 4 hours of lenggang kangkung (bcos beg semua dah campak ke porter) to reach the Timpohon's Gate. dah petang daah.. tapi had to wait for others, so by night jugak baru gerak balik KK.. PENAT GILA!

Saturday 27/2
Ingatkan most tak nak pergi dah pulau. But tup2 semua pergi jugak, excluding two bosses la, yg rent a car & went jalan2 sndri. Mmg best gila. Never knew pulak I macam ada sawan with corals. boleh berenang sorg2 without life jacket etc ke tengah2 laut tu. Nasib tak cramp kaki walaupun semua jalan macam ketam, especially bila jumpa tangga.

Balik dari pulau, shopping2 kat Phipliphine market. & later BBQ at my hse.

Sunday 28/2

Finally! heee. Asyik org cakap "ape nieh orang sabah tak pernah naik gunung Kinabalu!" ngaaa.. So. Iyea. Finally! heee~~!

& its gonna be this weekend! this Thursday to be exact! ngaa... chuak wey! Urm. Tentatively, this is kinda like our itinery la:

Thurs. Upon arrival in KK at about 10am, terus shoot g Kundasang. Lunch. Terus start mendaki thru Timpohon gate, ikut route yg tangga tu aje ye. Expected about 5 6 7 hours walk up jugak, to Laban Rata. so confirm malam la sampai. then tido jap.

Friday. 2 or 3am kene bangun & start daki lagi dah. 5 or 6am sampai la puncak kot. Tengok sunset hee.. pastu turun lah terus ke bawah balik.. & shoot ke KK balik.. flat... kalo ade yg hebat boleh la g shopping2 ke mane2

Saturday. Pulau day! Amek speed boat to Pulau Manukan & Mamutik kot. Snorkeling etc. Petang balik la. Shopping2 kat philiphine market ke. & later at night, seafood bbq at my house! jempot jempot.

Sunday. Early morning jalan2 kat Gaya Street (tamu ahad). By 10am dah nak kene gerak g airport kot ngee... & back to KL!

Mini Fireworks Competition in KL.

Sape punye kerja main bunga api semalam? Sejak tengah malam & berlarutan ber jam jam. Ade orang kate Chap Goh Mei. Yerke? Lagi cambest colleague I kata derang saje nak habiskan stock mercun CNY. I pun tak tau. I bukan racist oke. I celebrate CNY kot. But last night was just.. a bit too much koot.

I tutup laptop & I switched off the lights at about 12 midnight last night. Bila I off laptop & the music stops baru I kinda noticed the fireworks berdentam dentum outside la. Lantak la. I konfiden & tetap pendirian nak jugak tido. bo layan. But it seems the fireworks makin galak pulak.

Macam competition. Tapi fireworks cikai2 je la. Bukan la yg gerand (read english word grand) gempak bapak.

I grabbed my glasses & bukak tingkap tengok. Wa.. it was like the whole KL. No. Whole stretch from Gombak ni to entah-mana-geografi-fail-sket. Was lightened up with fireworks! Cantik tu cantik. But the booming sound was annoying la. Dah la duduk apartment murah tak sound proof kan. Sabar je la.

And it lasted for hours! Boleh tak? Agak mencarut carut jugak la. Tapi carut carut pun ambil camera jugak kan hahaha

There! Ignored!

You see. I don't really understand why. Some people are so bothered to somewhat like 'collect' friends in their Facebook and/or Friendster.

You got lotsa friends = You're popular\

wth?

When I had a Friendster profile once upon a time ago, I wasn't choosy of who I add la. Ade je friend request accept aje. To the extent it reached 1000 & you can no longer add new friends. Sengal, terpaksa create profile baru. Now I find Friendster to be too fancy mancy menyakitkan mata.

Then I found Facebook. Looks decent. Until they came up with a bit TOO MUCH of the stupid gifts & questionnaires. Fine. Maybe I'm not much of a sport, fine. I'm not bothered by whos playing it anyway. Eh jap. Ape I membebel pasal ni pulak.

I wanted to rant about the some people who simply like to collect friends. Ade yg when I checked the person's profile when he requested friend request, 300+ friends & semua aweks je! From the seksi meksi to bertudung jangok2 punya (berdasarkn profile pic mereka la). Takde makne aku naik join collection gadis ko wey!

Guess what. I can safely say that, my list of ignored friends is more than that I've accepted.

2 hari I tak bukak Facebook & I got 10 friend requests. Which I ignored all due to tak kenal reasons. Tak faham. Kalau I letak gambar seksi yg bak buah dada nak terkeluar tu faham la jugak orang berebut nak add I kaaan. Punya lah suci lagi penyanyang profile pic I tuh pegang kucing. Tak tipu tak faham.

But. Not all who tried to add had such intentions la. I know some are my juniors/seniors from previous schools/univ. Some are my blog 'fans' (duh!) But.. I'm just very particular with whom I add in my Facebook. Its very personal to me, & only the people I personally know/spoken with je I usually add.

So please. Please. Jangan ambil hati if I have not accepted you in Facebook. Its a personal thingy :)

Oh btw. Disebabkan bawak laptop balik kampung & cousin2 kecik macam jadikan bilik cousin I sorg ni mcm cyber cafe - 2 3 bijik laptop skali derang gomol2. Laptop I tibe2 crash ke naik sawan ke whatsoever la. Terus tak boleh startup. Beengong. My cousin helped to reformat my laptop, & installed it with Windows 7 - & I am loving it baby! Thnk u Pae'! Tgk la screenshot kat atas tu heee cool gila~

Quick Update

Since I've been out of my blog for quite some time - busy lah sangat konon - here's some quick updates la:

1. I'm in Kelantan now. Until Tuesday. Cuti Chinese New Year 4 hari kan (yaaay!) Feeling sad cuz not going back Sabah to celebrate with family, but since our Ah-Ma is on vacation to Japan, takperlah. Mesti tak happening kalau grandma takde time CNY ngee..

2. I just recovered from the nasty coughing & flu I had since.. a month ago? Ughh... X(

3. I'm going on Mount Kinabalu expedition end of this month! On the 25th to be exact. It'll be a 2d 1n climbing, so it'll be the very the super power punya expedition lah. Dah la arrive KK & climb on the same day pergh. So I've been jogging & going to gym (ceh baru sekali p gym) since last week la, konon nak jaga stamina. Tapi balik Kltan ni sure bukan sahaja tak dapat bersenam, malah musnah diet! Duit pun banyak nak habis kat shopping climbing gears ni ugh...

4. I'm so happy in the office sejak last week sebab banyak sangat limau mandarin free. Berkotak2. My theme song for this event is So Happy I Could Die - Lady Gaga. Terlalu gembira sampai sawan sebab makan banyak sgt limau.

5. Kucing Daniel ituh sudah selamat di dagang kan kepada Majin. Tahniah pembeli bertuah.

6. Last weekend my parents came by KL. & my mum mintak di bawak shopping kat Tesco. Kelakar tak? Ye Ma I know KK takde Tesco, but why datang KL jauh2 & pegi Supermarket? oh Mama ku.. Pastu borong perabot kat Ikea. Sanggup tuh hangkut balik KK naik flight segala besi2 kayu2 tuh! hahaha adoiya.. Layan je la..

7. Saya sudah mengantuk...
